The Five Solas

This Sunday School lesson explores the Five Solas of the Protestant Reformation and focuses especially on Sola Gratia—grace alone. Beginning with Martin Luther and the Reformation, the lesson explains how Scripture, faith, grace, Christ, and the glory of God work together as foundational Christian truths.

Using the thief on the cross as a powerful example, it shows that salvation is not earned through works, religious achievement, or human merit, but is received through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. The lesson closes with encouragement to rest in the sufficiency of God’s grace, remembering that salvation is His gift and that His strength is made perfect in weakness.
